The Courtyard at Suburban Square

Ardmore’s Suburban Square, built in 1928, is an iconic outdoor shopping center that has continued to attract top retailers. Renovations of the central courtyard include a circular drop-off area with valet parking, piazza like spaces, new planters, crosswalks, seating areas, and extensive landscaping with lighting. The courtyard and adjacent St. James Place are defined by an intricate design of brick and concrete pavers, areas of colored concrete punctuated with benches, bollards, streetlights, and entry canopies. KIMCO Realty and Kasco Construction engaged Glackin Thomas Panzak to provide landscape, lighting, and hardscape construction documentation for this exciting transformation.
